Which of you put a rotary engine in an MG Midget? The perfect storm of quirkiness and maintenance. I used to have a 1965 piston-engine Midget, and this rotary one is stirring up all kinds of want.

I’m hoping I can convince my father in law to sell me his early 1970's MG Midget, in hopes I can do a Miata powertrain swap on it. But my wife has said “he’ll never sell it to you if he knows you’re going to put a Japanese motor in his British car”. He’s the kind that likes original condition, zero modification; I prefer modification because speed is fun.

But, can you fit in it? My inseam is for someone 6-1 even though I’m 6-3 and theres several cars I cant  fit

Funny enough, I actually fit better in the MG Midget than the Mazda Miata (ND). Even though the MG’s wheel doesn’t tilt or telescope, it just fits me better. I’m 6'2".
